In the fall, we will be presenting Rick Elice’s Peter and the Starcatcher. This wildly theatrical tale upends the century-old story of how a miserable orphan comes to be The Boy Who Would Not Grow Up (a.k.a. Peter Pan). From marauding pirates and jungle tyrants to unwilling comrades and unlikely heroes, Peter and the Starcatcher playfully explores the depths of greed and despair… and the bonds of friendship, duty and love.

Starting in November, the Strawberry Hill Improv Players (SHIP) will put on several performances every couple of months in our small auditorium. These shows never fail to make the crowd laugh non-stop, starring a variety of performers in all grades.

A Knight Of Cabaret, our biggest club fundraiser of the year will be in mid-December. Featuring current students, alumni, and local talent, this performance is one of the most entertaining. It’s definitely one not to miss.

Then in January, the senior players will have the unique opportunity to try directing in our annual production of Senior Scenes XXVThis show gives underclassman actors a chance to star and seniors a chance to direct.

In March, we will be presenting the Knight of Teen Angst, a first-time event allowing SHS students to perform songs that encapsulate angst, rebelliousness, and the teen spirit. This is a fun, one-time event giving students the opportunity to showcase their singing and performing abilities.

Finishing another year off strong, our spring musical will be Mamma Mia! The story follows a young girl named Sophie who centers around a girl named Sophie who is searching for her true father to walk her down the aisle at her wedding. She invites three of her mother’s ex-boyfriends who may be her real father behind her mom’s back. Hijinks ensue as old friends and new lovers interact and Sophie learns the true meaning of family. This hilarious comedy is filled with amazing music from ABBA. You will laugh and cry throughout the entire show and have the night of your life! This high-energy musical displays the importance of love and family and The Strawberry Hill Players are so incredibly grateful to be able to perform it.

Thank you! We can’t wait to see you there!
